Like a lot of boys, my son hates wearing jeans. He prefers soft, athletic feeing fabrics and often resists wearing long pants at all regardless of the weather. However, there are those occasions where actual pants or jeans are necessary, like the holiday season. So instead of gearing up for some wardrobe-based arguments, I made it my mission to find a solution. I shopped and ordered and felt hundreds of pairs of boys denim. After doing this my reaction would be…..no wonder boys hate wearing jeans!!!! Most are scratchy and heavy and made with mediocre denim. It was not easy to find a pair that feels soft and stretchy, but never fear, all of the styles I found are soft and close to sweats as jeans can possibly get. Bonus points for the styles that have an elastic waist! As a mom who loves to splurge on denim, the pairs I’m recommending are reasonably priced. If money is invested in denim it should be for a grown up.
